Don't Just take My word for it...
We’ve heard the cliche,”therapy changed my life”. For me, this is the easiest way I can describe my experience working with Meg. Her smile, her energy and her ability to make me feel immediately comfortable opening up about my struggles took me by surprise. In the past I have worked with other counselors and it was nice to have someone listen to me, but I never left with new insight on how to feel happier. Needless to say, I found myself stuck in new problems, and reluctant to try counseling again.
A friend of mine suggested I might have a change of heart if I contacted Meg. It has been a complete game changer, and truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life.
I’ve told her she is my, “Yoda”. A compliment she humbly acknowledges by saying, “I only ask you the right questions” and you find the answers, not me. This type of response speaks volumes about who she is as a person, and only makes me trust her more. Her knowledge and unique perspective have helped me find meaning and purpose in my life that I didn’t know existed.
Meg is a wonderful therapist. Very calm voice and no judgment makes you want to open up and talk. Never felt ignored , not listened to or have had an impression that she was annoyed by what I shared with her. What I also love is the fact that I can do my sessions through zoom. With my busy schedule and quite a distance to her office location it would be hard for me to see her every week. I am very thankful and blessed that someone recommend Meg and I was willing to give it a shot. She is great!
I was referred to Meg via a close friend after my divorce. She has great empathy, intelligence and expertise. I talk about EVERYTHING with Meg and the feedback is genuine, honest and most importantly - helpful. Understanding that the goal is to teach me coping skills to overcome negative patterns of behavior is taught professionally and with great care. I highly recommend everyone to seek a therapist to help them sort out the mental/emotional glitches that we all have. If you are in Meg's neighborhood or can dial in, she is outstanding to work with!
Meg is absolutely fantastic!!!
She has helped me tremendously over the years.
Her insight and knowledge of a vast amount of issues affecting adults, children, men and women is astonishing!!
I highly recommend Meg for her compassion, empathy, knowledge and her straight forward and helpful assessment of any issues I have ever brought to her.
Meg is an absolute angel. She has helped me immensely in a short time with anxiety struggles. I couldnt be more thankful. Therapy with her is very easy going and stressless. I recommend Meg to all of my friends and family! Don't hesitate to make an appointment like i did. I wish i would have done it sooner!
Excellent service! Dr. Lukan is incredibly effective, thorough, and easy to reach, all of which have been so important to me during the pandemic. Her in-office sessions offer a wonderful, calming environment, and she's been so accommodating to do telephone sessions with me since covid started. If I could give her more than 5 stars for a rating, I would! Highly recommended.
I adore Meg and I am so happy I found her. She helped me navigate life after a divorce and has now become more of a life coach for me. I talk to her about everything and I love how easy she is to talk to. She speaks from a place of education and experience but she melds that with something more personable and harder to find that can’t be summed up into words. She radiates empathy and a genuine warmth. Meg has a way of objectively talking about things, so that you’re able to see and understand things you don’t necessarily see or think about. She’s not afraid to point out things that might not be working and helps you work through them. She’s helped me realize things about my past/current self and through my continual sessions, I work through everyday challenges that help me lead a better life and work toward a future I want. She’s incredibly responsive, flexible in scheduling and even sends out reminders. I recommend her to anyone working through various stages of life challenges.

I was looking for a therapist for my son to see. I worked at a social service agency and some of the therapists recommended Meg. I eventually needed a quality therapeutic relationship myself, having issues of depression and anxiety. I connected with Meg and felt comfortable and respected from the beginning. Our relationship has continued for many years, at times more frequent than others. I have always felt better and more at peace after our sessions. Meg lets you talk, but also knows when it is time for her expertise and knowledge to be the priority. That is, I'm not just there to blow off steam. I don't think Meg holds anything back, can give you a different perspective and help you to process and deal with life's inevitable and sometimes unfair twists and turns. I even took my mother to see her. She was 98 then and had a good deal of anxiety and fear in her life. As with me, mom left her sessions smiling, calmer and more at ease.

Meg helped me through a difficult transition in my life, she’s still helping me. She’s pushed me when I needed pushing, questioned me when I needed to ask myself the hard questions. Her guidance has been invaluable and I have recommended her to my friends. We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve taken this journey together. I wish I would have met her years ago. Then again, everything has happened exactly as it should have, in its own time. *brave* Thank you Meg.
