About Meg

Meg O. Lukan, M.S., L.C.P.C. has been practicing in the Field of Counseling and Rehabilitation since 1991. Her mission is to provide the highest quality of care through education, support, and self-empowerment. Through a collaborative relationship, Meg helps people confront their challenges in a safe environment with the support of their therapist as a coach.


Meg received her Master’s degree from The University of Illinois, graduated Phi-Kappa-Phi High Honor Society, and has specialized training with both adults, and children.


As a mother of two, Meg recognizes that parents are the best advocates for their children.  She values and respects the importance of family involvement and is happy to meet with parents privately to make sure she is the best match for their child.


Additionally, Meg has been a Clinical Supervisor and has trained other clinicians in the area of Behavior Modification, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, social cognition, and  self-regulation. She has advanced training in Exposure Therapies for Anxiety Spectrum Disorders across the life span. Her goal is to promote well-being and resiliency through kindness, compassion, and creativity.

Meg’s counseling style has been described as supportive, educational, and solution-focused, while also being friendly, intuitive, and compassionate. Meg believes, “for every problem, there is a solution,” and her natural ability to guide you through difficult situations is one hallmark of her therapy style.

Throughout her career, Meg has been licensed to practice Counseling in Arizona, Illinois, and Texas.  She has served as the Ethics Leader on The Board of Directors for the National Rehabilitation Counseling Assocation (NCRCA).  She has been an avid volunteer and support group leader for organizations such as The Alzheimer’s Association, The National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI;Arizona Chapter) and Feed My Starving Children.
